Cooled my heels tongight with Z-man and his great girl Jewel! THey had an impromtu dance party over at their castle and Z-man was spinnin some sweet tunes!!

Love chillen with them they are both great, and wonderful people,,,,nto to mention Z-man is one fo the hottest DJ's on the grid!!!

NOH8 Campaign Second Life Picture

Ok, so this was taken quite some time ago back when the NOH8 Campaign started in SL (about a year ago if I remember right). I found it while I was cleaning out some of the pics (hundreds of thousands of them) that litter my computer memory and figured that I would post it here.

Tainted Designs Photo Contest

Tainted Designs is holding a photo contest. It hasn't started yet (won't start until all the boards are full, and there are only a few left) but I ask nicely, and encourage you all to stop by, and enter, or vote for me!

That's the pic I used (you have to be wearing somethign from their clothing line), it actually came out pretty damn cool if I do say so myself!

Anyway they have some awesome outfits, as well as a pretty cool midnight madness board with really good stuff on it!

Mr. and Mrs. Europe 2011 (SL)

Here I am at the 2011 Mr. & Mrs. Europe Contest to support my very good friend Si De Brit. He recently won Mr. United Kingdom, and is now competing for Mr. Europe!

Now of course I want my friend to win the contest......but in an effort to be kind and objective I wish all of the contestants the very best today!!

The place is full of fashionista's and models from all over, it is quite a large event, and from what I understand will also be televised in some fashion as well and put up on YouTube. There have already been many videos posted.

The audience area is huge, and for such a large place, it's very warm and cozy. There are tables with Champagne and comfy red chairs to sit in. The stage is massive, as there are a ton of contestants in this pageant. I can't wait until the contest begins!!

What a life!

Yea, it's good alright!

Took some time today to just lay back and relax a bit in SL. I had nothing to do, no where to go, and no friends on to talk to; so I decided that some quality beach time was in order. I laid out, catching the pixel rays of sun that never seem to tan my white skin...and just relaxed.

I let a lot of things go, and started a few new ones as well with a re-invented self, and a new enthusiasm that I haven't felt for a very long time!

Cox Magazine!!

Cox Leather has put out their first issue of Cox Magazine! Besides the amazing photography inside there are articles on fashion, furniture and many other things!! You can stop by any of their stores to get a copy of the magazine!

I had the pleasure of being at the launch party last week and man was the place packed!! DJ Hotboy was spinnign some sweet tunes (as he always does) and everyone who's anyone was there! I seriously felt like a superstar just being there!!

The ever evolving, ever confusing ToS Agreement

Just a quick not ehere of something that is quite annoying, and something that I personally feel should be explained at least from my point of view.

First off, I am not a lawyer by any means ( I can't stand to wear a tie) but everyone thinks they are at some point right? I want to bring attention to the issue of logging and sharing IM's.

Within the Community Standards part of the ToS we have a note on disclosure that covers conversations including IM's. This was taken directly from Second Life site:

1. Disclosure

   Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Second Life experience. Sharing personal information about your fellow Residents without their consent -- including gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, alternate account names, and real-world location beyond what is provided by them in their Resident profile -- is not allowed. Remotely monitoring conversations in Second Life, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without the participants' consent are all prohibited.

One must consent to having theor information shared or conversations released. Now according to this anyone can log conversations as much as they want, that is not the issue and is not against the ToS. The minute you take that log and share it, post it, or use it in any way other than personal use violates the ToS agreement. Conesent is not made simply because a person has listen in their profile that they log and release IM's. In fact people that add this to profiles because they think it releases them from ToS are making a mistake.

The definition itself. A verb mind you meaning that it requires some sort of action. That action is an agreement. If you IM a person it does not mean that you agree by their terms. It means you would like to talk with them. If they have in their profile that they log IM's and you do not wish to be logged....don't IM them (arguing ToS with people is completely useless, as everyone sees it differently). Consent must be asked and accepted, ex. "Is it alright if I log this conversation?" or "I log my IM's is that ok?". This still does not mean that those IM's can be released however. It is still against the ToS to release IM's without consent of the party. So you would also need to ask in the IM itself "Is it ok if I release this IM at some point?" The answer here had better be yes if you release it, if it is no you ahve violated ToS.
